“Pick a Girl” is the work of Russian artist Biennale Kovylina. It is a live exhibit where the she pins to her skin a number of cut-outs of naked women. Kovylina invites members of the audience to come and unpin a woman from her skin and discard her. “Pick a Girl” reflects Kovylina’s views on the role of women in Russian society.

Oh my f ‘in Gawd….you can imagine how far my jaw dropped when I saw this picture while surfing through the Lightspeed girls galleries. I think my heart skipped a beat and I almost fell off my seat. When I saw this picture on Skin video, I couldn’t help but be reminded of this girl I had the pleasure (sarcasm) of knowing back in college.
